Brought in my 2014 forester XT for service a few days ago, not expecting what it would need in total. My advisor Andrew S was extremely friendly and a great help. My forester ended up needing a few extra things I was not aware of and Andrew did not hesitate to call first and make sure I was willing to repair it before they started. This was a long distance purchase. I already had financing. The vehicle was overpriced and they didn't work with me enough on the price including one of their fees. The salesperson that assisted was fine, but I don't think this vehicle was inspected before being advertised and put on the lot. It's a 2014 gl550 Mercedes suv with 72k+ miles. It was delivered quickly, but when it got here it had a check engine light on and running rough. It was vibrating noticeably and smelled like oil or something burning. I used my simple code scanner and it had misfires on cylinders 1 and 3. There was no headphones for the rear entertainment and it was dirty inside when it arrived. I can understand not clean outside after cross country delivery, but inside appearance shows me it was not washed or detailed. I text the sales person that same night. He apologized said it wasn't malfunctioning there. His service manager was supposed to arrange for another AutoNation to check it out, but it has been 3 days and I still have not heard anything.

I always enjoy going to Auto Nation Subaru Scottsdale. The team there makes me feel like Family. They are always willing to give me information and answer questions. Steven is always truthful with me and upfront about what my services will look like for my car. They are easy to contact and always keep me in the loop while my car is in the shop.

My family bought our new Forester here. We used a car locating service through our bank. The car we wanted was available and at a great price. Our salesperson was friendly and we chatted while the back and finance group got things rolling. We did choose some extra services, no high pressure sales, but my wife and I plan to have this car for 20 years. The peace of mind made it a good value. Overall, the selection, the staff and the low pressure sales made this the right choice.

UPDATE: They don't properly inspect vehicles before putting them on the lot. Take someone to inspect your vehicle if you really want to purchase a used car here. ______________ Best dealership! They have a no haggle policy so they won’t be changing the price on you when you are there. They don’t waste your time with numbers like all the other dealers on this street. Just straight honest which I love! I was in and out in 2.5 hours with all the paperwork done. I would 100% buy another car with AutoNation.

Could not recommend more! After waiting over a month to get a car from a Camelback Subaru, I called Hannah at Autonation and got a brand new 2023 crosstrek within a few hours. Super friendly and honest. They don’t charge unnecessary fees or “added features” like some dealerships do. Best first car buying experience that I could have asked for.

Although the customer service was good, whatever mechanic worked on my car missed little details like placing my center consul backing back onto my car, they just left it on the floor. They also left my passenger seat dirty with oil, which took time and cleaner to get out. Based on what they missed this time, for a small job, I would caution using them for anything big (or small really) because they might miss little steps. I understand everyone is busy, but missing small details is not ok.

From the time I arrived David listened and showed me the vehicle I was there to look at. He had in mind a vehicle that I didn’t mention and showed me a one that had my name written all over it. From looking at vehicles to making a sensible purchase agreement my experience was very pleasant. Maria infinancing was also very pleasant to work with as she listen to my needs and suggested some additional insurances that would be handy for the used vehicle I was purchasing. That insurance is being put to good use now. I’m looking forward to receiving delivery of my newly serviced Outback with 100k on it so that I may give AutoNation service a remarkable review too! GARY WAS INCREDIBLE. If you are considering to buy a subaru COME TO THIS LOCATION THEY TAKE CARE OF YOU. On my first year i live 30 miles from this location and i will ALWAYS come here for my service appointments i live closer to another shop that i can can go to but the trip time and cost is wirth it for the stellar quality they give here. We went out on a Sunday looking for a 2nd vehicle for our family of 6 we were over at Auto Nation and our first stop was Hyundai to look at the Palisade and then over to Ford to look at the Explorer but didn’t have what we were looking for. My fiancé found that Subaru made a 7 seat option and we wanted to try and look over there but saw online that they were closed but figured we would just drive by anyways. The gate was opened and decided to just go and look and found people inside and found out they were open! We got paired up quickly with Colton and he was great! He quickly showed us the Ascent and took it for a test drive and we were sold pretty quickly with how smooth the drive was and it even had extra features we didn’t know about such as the Eyesight. Colton was excellent with his knowledge about the vehicle and answered all our questions. He handled my fiancé’s “salesman personality” very well haha as he loves to test people and Colton passed with flying colors! This dealership worked with us with our 3rd party auto loan and all the staff was very hospitable. The only change I would make would be to make sure it says open on Sundays because they almost missed a sale! Highly recommend Colton and highly recommend this Subaru dealership!

We've wanted a Subaru Outback for some time and dropped into AutoNation Subaru in Scottsdale to see what might be possible. Never go look at puppies if you aren't planning to get one. Same with Subarus! Bought a beautiful blue '22 Touring model with great help from Hannah Proud. Ask for her if you're looking for a Subaru!!! My only suggestion is that salespeople need to spend at least a half hour going over what the car is able to do and how to do it. Can be VERY complicated and the manual isn't owner friendly. Our car was new but previously owned. Took me over an hour just to delete previous owner's phone, address, seat positions, etc. Putting new information in takes forever. This is especially important if customer is a senior. When you hit 70 or so, you can have much less - only about 20% - of the bandwidth needed to handle complex situations than when you were 40. Selling to seniors needs to be recognized as a unique circumstance requiring special training by auto dealers! That could be a huge sales differential! "Senior Certified!" But all said, we LOVE this car and highly recommend Hannah and AutoNation Subaru.

Emil was very transparent with me about what needed to be done and the time expected to do it. When a glitch caused the service to be delayed he immediately stepped in with a loaner car so I wouldn’t spend another 3 hours at the dealership. He was a breath of fresh air in Eve service industry.

Bought my Subaru Outback Sport at AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale in 2019 and the experience continues to be excellent(which is not the norm at car dealerships in my experience). My last visit was unplanned and unscheduled! While shopping at Costco my car’s battery died in the parking lot. The man in the tie center there started my car with the battery jumper and I started toward home. I decided since I was in the area I would have AutoNation check it out. They were busy but worked me in an a short year later I was back on the road with a full batter and told to be sure and turn off my lights when parked in this heat! A nice way to tell me that I had probably left the car on accident,y and had rundown the battery! No charge just a smile! Thankyou!!!!

Completely unprofessional, and totally unhelpful. Stephen Russo shouldn’t be allowed to work in customer service. I will never go back to this location. They don’t even fix basic issues that they say they can, so you’ll be out the money you spent plus have to take your car in to another place to actually get it properly fixed. Waste of time.

I originally called the dealership because I didn’t want to leave a review on line. I thought it would be more helpful to communicate with the sales person directly because I really wanted her to thrive and understand what I was trying to communicate because it was such as disappointment. In truth I blame the dealership for putting her in that position because she was’t ready. We went to the Subaru dealership with the intention of purchasing a car. When we got there several of the employees were conversing in front of the building with each other. There weren’t many cars in the lot. We were looking at the Forester, Outback and especially the Crosstrek. We were assigned a young woman to help us. I had several questions about the number of cars in the lot though I kept getting the same answer that wasn’t answering my question. It was as though she just couldn’t say “I don’t know.” This became a theme. We asked to take a couple cars for a test drive though we weren’t allowed to take the actual car we wanted for a test drive and couldn’t get a clear answer why. I would repeatedly have to ask more and more questions to poke holes in the vague answer we were getting. When we finally got into the car with the salesperson it felt like we were just taking her for a spin. She didn’t have anywhere to take us, was not aware of the different engines between the cars, size differences, safety features, or anything with financing. She also wasn’t aware of the Crosstrek hybrid. I had to ask all the questions and some of her answers were wrong, others she was speculating the answer and others she finally admitted she didn’t know. I had done research on the vehicles and only one of her answers was accurate. She was unable to say no or I don’t know and instead made up information. There were also a couple safety features that we were unaware of and she didn’t guide us to explore or experience them. It was a joke and upsetting that a car company whose mission statement is : “Our mission is to deliver a peerless (unrivaled) customer experience. Our vision is to be America's best place to buy and service cars and trucks.” Would mess around with someone who is wanting to spend $35,000 on a car. For some people that is 2-3 years of income. When we parked the last car after the test drive she went inside and came out with a person who could answer all of our questions. It felt disrespectful to put her in that position and also to our time and money. The experience at all the other dealership’s, especially the AUDI, was exceptional and gave us more clarity on how unprofessional that experience really was. So I called her to let her know personally because I wanted her to be e powerful and didnt feel like it was necessary to post on line or talk to her supervisors. That night, between 7 and 8 pm I got a call from the dealership. The call was recorded and a supervisor listened to the call. I was surprised by the call. I thought they were calling to give more clarity on the situation. Instead he was calling to lecture me on how inappropriate and insensitive it was to contact the salesperson and ‘criticize her” for her work. He was defending her instead of listening to me. I asked him about the mission statement and he relayed it to me. I then asked would the best dealership have a sales representative know the different kind of engines that are included with the various models (there aren’t that many) and he said no. It is an AutoNation site though it specializes in Subaru. If someone is wanting to give the place that has a mission to give the best experience $35,000 for a new car - at the very least I would hope they would know what you are talking about. Instead we got lies, inaccurate information, avoidance, defensiveness, a woman who had no business being on the sale floor alone and a rude upper sales person calling me after 7pm to lecture me. Ridiculous and so unprofessional. If you want an amazing experience go to AUDI to test drive there and see how customer service is done.

I've had a lot of experience with car issues and shady repair shops, to the point where car repairs give me extreme anxiety. With my new Crosstrek, I chose to take it to the dealership instead of finding a shop and I am so thankful I did. I have always had Steven Russo as a service advisor and he has been a God send. I take it for regular maintenance and repairs, and most recently had a pretty severe repair. My air conditioning compressor and condenser got completely destroyed, and were not completely covered by my warranty. One part was on back order indefinitely, but I was moving across the country just a few weeks from my repair and needed my car. I was in tears in the dealership, but Steven got me hooked up with a beautiful loaner and provided me updates on my car. I got it back less than 2 weeks later and the air conditioning is working beautifully. After that, road debris took out one of my mud flaps. I texted Steven asking what part I needed and he had me stop by, and clipped the part back in himself out in front of the service repair area. He truly goes above and beyond, and so do the technicians and other staff here. I am highly impressed by the service/repair staff at Autonation. TLDR: I am highly impressed by the service/repair staff at Autonation. They go above and beyond for their customers.

The staff here are nice, answer questions and after 4 yrs have kept my car in good shape. I appreciate their feedback and consideration to cost. I know this is Scottsdale but not everyone has extra. They are also considerate of your time with updates as to when car will be available. Two minor inconveniences i recently experienced: I had wiper blades replaced and didn't notice a protective cover was left on one blade until I was on the freeway in a down pour, luckily no mishaps. Secondly, the position of the driver's seat after repair was pushed extremely forward, it would have been nice if it were left in a neutral position. These extra touches go a long way. Like every where else, there seems to be a shortage of staff - which puts an extra burden on the people who are working. I appreciate their service.

I have consistently received good service at AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale. My most recent visit went well too. My air wasn't blowing cold and just by looking under the hood, they diagnosed some bad O rings. They replaced them all because my car is a 2015 by replacing them all, which I agreed was a good I idea to save on labor costs down the line. I receive honest, courteous, and timely service at this dealership. That is why I go back. Thank you!

After having an awful experience at another Subaru dealership in the area, Autonation Subaru was a breath of fresh air. Our salesman was knowledgeable, and the experience felt very low pressure. I was also impressed at their inventory - I understand times are tough for car dealers right now but I had been to several before that only had a handful on the lot. I love my new Subaru Crosstrek. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Fantastic! From the moment I arrived, Colton made me feel welcome and part of not only the Subaru family but also the dealership's family. Everyone treated me with respect and honesty, and at the end of the day we reached a fair agreement and I couldn't be a more satisfied customer! Each time I was in there, other team members where actively helping other customers close deals and it was clear that every customer in there felt what I felt, part of their family. Colton made the experience enjoyable and is the main reason we decided to go with a Subaru. We also felt with Darcy there who was also very nice and again, not pushy. Even went speaking to the management they were all really chill. Chill, overall fits the vibe for this place. I highly recommend going through them if you want a Subaru.

Update: Emil is my new service rep, replacing Mike because Mike's been promoted! I had a great experience the other day from initial scheduling, to personal communication, to completion of the work. And I was impressed at how the service person diagnosed a problem I had that I thought was related to the alignment, but they resolved it without it costing me any money. Earlier: Michael H always takes good care to listen, keep me posted and take good care of the car’s service needs. This was a tough problem to figure out, but they kept at it.

Where do I start? Okay, so first, Colton the sales rep, damn he was amazing through and through, knowledgeable and worked extremely well with the managers to get a deal worked, my wife and I showed up with a pre-approval and they got us a better deal with the same lender! Now the car, I was searching for the wilderness Forester for a few days and first saw that some were inbound to Camelback Subaru, sadly, those are potentially already spoken for. I called Autonation with little hope but there was hope none the less. Colton at first was under the impression that it was a customer order car and that something may have been wrong in the background and we set an appointment to come in and order the vehicle. Not 3 minutes later he called me back and said "if you want it, get here now" and the rest is history. I'm in love with ever aspect of the experience, HIGHLY RECCOMEND 17/10 I'm telling everyone I know that if yiu want a Subie, go see my new friend Colton at Autonation Subaru, he's your guy!!

This is by far my favorite AutoNation location in the valley. I have a Honda CRV and purchased the maintenance plan along with it. The Autonation Honda location is inconvenient for me (in Chandler) so I look to other locations for regular maintenance like oil changes. I've been to this location many times and everyone is always SO nice! I was expecting to leave my vehicle overnight but they completed the oil change in 1 hour! Makes me want to buy a Subaru!

I was truly surprised to witness how the Subaru service department in Scottsdale declined since my last visit. Right from the start we were told that servicing our car would take longer than usual due to the lack of technicians. A simple oil change service took two hours. There wasn’t enough personnel to take care of the car owners patiently for their cars. I felt bad for the one guy who was doing his best. I should have realized something was different when I entered the waiting area and I was greeted with a hand written sign stating No Car Washes.

Maria was helpful during the buying process but lacks communications skills, personality and knowledge. We first visited location on March 26, we looked at the vehicle, but weren’t able to test drive it since it hadn’t gone through inspection. We agreed to do the refundable deposit while the car was inspected and worked on. I reached out on March 30th since she said it would only be a few days for the car to be inspected and we hadn’t heard from Maria. The car was inspected after the call, and we heard back on the April 1st with the things that would be repaired. I reached out on the 4th since Maria hadn’t reached out, again she said they were still waiting on parts, the next day she said the car was ready, so I drove there but the car was not ready and still had pending tire repairs and bumper, wasted my time (mind you we live an hour away) when I asked her when they would have it done she had no answer, I had to be a little pushy and ask her to find out since she didn’t seem to care when it would be completed and I felt like she didn’t care about being respectful of our time. The car was “ready” on the 9th, we didn’t have a chance to make it in until 4/11, yet again the car was not ready, I’m not sure what type of inspections they run on their vehicles, but it isn’t a very great one (lights out missing bolts). Finance guy (Cleghorn) sat in his office for 45 min without anyone letting us know that their systems were down, and he just seemed bothered to have to help us. I’d beware after you sign and drive away all that ends. They act like they will help but never do, Maria asked me to bring the vehicle in just to tell me that the car was sold “as is”, if that was the case why ask me to drive the car there for an hour if she knew there was going to be no resolution on their end. I hoped for a little more honesty and integrity from AutoNation but they got what they wanted. If you plan to visit this dealer, get everything in writing and then insist that a manager signs off on it. You will thank yourself later.

I went in to buy some new wiper blades for my 2020 Crosstrek. They had the blades in stock but informed me that my Crosstrek was still under warranty and that wiper blades are covered under the warranty for 3 years and 36,000 miles. I had no idea that an item like wiper blades would be covered under warranty. They got the blades and installed them for me all free of charge. Wow! That saved my close to $100. Thanks, Subaru!

I was satisfied with how the selling process went with sales, but was extremely dissatisfied with the service department. When purchasing the car, I was guaranteed a 3 month/ 4000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, which I had to use when my car developed an aggressive front end shake while applying the brakes. I told the service tech manager Steve that I believe the brake caliper or possibly the rotor might be bad/warped. He looked me dead in the eyes and claimed I needed a tire balance, and that I would have to pay for it. We went back-and-forth on the issue, and after becoming sick of being treated as if I was ignorant and knew nothing of cars, I left and did the job myself. Here are some pictures to prove that my issue was a “balance and remount”, proving their incompetence and willingness to charge their customers for what is obviously not the correct fix

I ordered a new 2022 Crosstrek Sport on March 4th. Josh and Hannah were my sales representatives. The order was easy and Josh did an excellent job of explaining all my options and dealer fees prior to my visit to the dealership. I’ve purchased over 15 new cars in my lifetime, mostly from internet sales, with a confirmed price prior to visiting the dealership. Upon my arrival to the dealership, Hannah handled my test drive and explained all the car’s features in person. She was patient, professional and easy to work with. My new Forester of 2021 with 13,000 had to have transmission replaced. I was told twice they were replacing the transmission but they ended up replacing two main components. First component the torque didn’t fix it so they changed the second and it seemed to fix the issue. In the mean time my car was left there for 5-6 weeeks and when I got the car back I drove it home and it was parked for two days. Drove it the first time and decided to go to car wash. The guy at the car wash said that there is paint like a back splash all over my car and a big gash down the hood. Here they had ehitewashed the roof of the building and got backsplash of white paint on over 50 vehicles. I took my car back and I showed them the gash. The manager was very kind and helpful.. he gave me a new loaner and they ran my car thru a clay wash or shone thing a few times. And they were able to take care of the big scratch down the hood. My problem with this is, that this should have never happened. None of it. From the get go. There was an older man in the lobby saying that he left his brand new car with them and they got paint all over it. It was sad to me that these are customers who pay for the quality of car that will run forever if taken care of and the customer care and service that is forever talked about among Subaru customers. I went to Subaru hoping this would be my last car and I could drive it without worry. Not only did the transmission die in the middle of a street but they never did change out the entire transmission like I was told not once but twice. The service in Peoria was horrible. Which is where I purchased the car. So I went to Subaru in Scottsdale to see if the service was any better. The service before Tommy was very chatty, fast talker, not so much based on care and understanding.. but then along came Tommy the manager. He was very understanding and patient. So while this review is based on many experiences since purchasing my 2021 in November of 2020, it is nonetheless my first experience with the infamous Subaru family. I’m a little disheartened to say the least. Never had these issues with Acura or Audi for that matter. Audi had many things go wrong but the service and communication were impeccable and they always had a loaner. I would never have gotten a loaner when the transmission went out if I hadn’t called corporate. That’s really sad to me. Especially on a brand new vehicle that you pay for the extras. Including towing which I waited 7 hours for. It’s just all too frustrating. If you need Subaru Scottsdale ask for Tommy. If Tommy isn’t there, wait until he’s available. Sincerely disappointed

My husband and I were traveling in Arizona with our daughter's Subaru Forrester and encountered issues on the highway with acceleration and had several lights come on - traction control, hill assist and ABS needs to be checked. We searched for a Subaru dealer near us and the closest was in Scottsdale. I called and spoke to Greg and he said they were booked up until a week away. I mentioned we were traveling from Sedona to Scottsdale/Phoenix area and were concerned about making it to our destination. He said we could stop by so they could read any codes that might exist. After talking to our daughter about her having a brake light switch replaced due to recall several years before due to the same error messages, we mentioned that. Greg said if we wanted to go to lunch they would look at it. Greg and the service team found that the brake light switch had become loose. They had it fixed while we were having lunch and did not charge us for the fix. We truly appreciated them squeezing us in to their busy schedule and getting the car fixed so we could continue our vacation and travels with peace of mind. Thank you Greg and the service team!

To the general manager, 0 stars, please pay your current employees more, or hire more employees, with the car market as it is, there is no reason to have 1 FM throughout a 12 hour shift. Absolutely ridiculous. Maria and denice are the ONLY reasons you are getting 5 stars, excellent employees. Again, GM gets 0 stars, no reason to have a 6pm app, and force the employees to stay until 9:45pm. Used to work at WFA, and this was a common occurrence with AN dealers.

**UPDATE** Due to a near-fatal accident my husband survived in August, we found ourselves needing yet another car. We decided to upgrade to the 2022 Ascent Onyx Edition and found ourselves back at AutoNation Subaru. There are just too many names to list who provided us, once again, with fantastic service. Brian, who helped us get the car ordered and Phil and Darcy, who got us into the vehicle...they all did a great job getting things done for us. We ordered the car in October and it arrived in January...we expected the delay due to all the lovely supply issues going on, but we'd knew it would be worth the wait! And it was! Seriously, if you want consistent, great service you need to get over to AutoNation Subaru and see Phil! We were dreading the idea of having to buy a new car. Knowing we would be held hostage in a dealership for 6 hours with a restless 6 and 8 year old is NOT our idea of how to spend our day off. We sipped our coffee at home and started perusing some car sales websites and finally narrowed our sights on Subaru. Didn't take very long to decide which model fit our needs and which dealerships, within a short distance, had the ones we liked. I typed in my email and phone and within the hour, Phillip from AutoNation Subaru in Scottdale called me. I shared our recent debacle with AutoNation Ford, which left a very bad taste and sealed the deal on NEVER giving them our business again. Needless to say I was incredibly apprehensive about using ANY AutoNation dealer ever again. I also shared what we had been quoted for our trade in via Carmax and Carvana (assuming any AutoNation dealer wouldn't even consider giving us that much) and that there would be no way we could make it into a dealership until the following weekend...maybe. To my surprise, Phillip offered to bring the car we liked to our home so we could test drive it! My husband and I took turns watching kids and test driving an Ocean Blue Impreza Sport. It was love at first turn. As this was late on a Sunday, we let Phillip know we might be able to make it to the dealership that Thursday if we skipped karate lessons that night. Within an hour after he left, he called to say he would be able to conduct the entire deal by phone and email so we wouldn't have to step one foot inside the dealership! Since it was late on Sunday and the Finance person wouldn't be able to get things finished, I completed the online credit check application which they agreed to review first thing in the morning. By Monday morning, they called with the completed offer for the trade-in and the financing terms we wanted. With some final calls and emails (docusign) back and forth, we took delivery of our new car on Monday afternoon... and yes, once again Phillip brought her to us all washed and ready to go. We are grateful for Phillip in Sales and Darcey in Finance for helping us through THE BEST car buying experience we have ever had. Thank you again! You clearly have a general manager that cares about her customers. 😊

I inquired online, got several responses from different dealers and picked right away this location because of Josh, the sales rep. Not only did he provide me with price options in writing (how rare), but he followed up daily about new cars coming to Arizona. Then when I picked "the one" he updated me twice a week about its ETA. All the questions I had were immediately answered by text, my preferred communication choice. He honored my wish not to be called (the other dealers hadn't). The most amazing, refreshing experience was that Josh was not the typical sales person (and I know, I am in sales too). It was a pleasure to be taken care of by Josh. If he didn't like so much working at his particular dealership, I would hire him on the spot!

Best Subaru Dealership in the valley. I was looking for a new Forester Wilderness 2022. I went to another dealership for a factory order, but they were asking 10K over MSRP. I thought I will have to wait a little longer because of car market right now. I was browsing through AutoNation's website and saw a vehicle in transit. I went ahead and reserve the vehicle. The best part they did not charge any markup. They kept me informed about the status. I had called them multiple times for various queries, they were courteous and respectful every time. I would be very careful if you take your car here to get any service done if you are a young woman. I have a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek that I have had for a year and felt scammed walking out of that building. I came here with a set appointment at 2pm for an oil change, general maintenance and also for a software recall on my vehicle. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes, WITH an appointment, the service advisor walks up to me and says they cannot perform the oil change because the oil plug was on too tightly (caused by the last dealership that gave me an oil change, of course), and they had tried everything to get it out. They had not performed any of the maintenance checks, they had not taken care of the recall, and most importantly they were recommending that I get my oil pan cut out and replaced in a few weeks. The service advisor that sat on the left when you entered the service shop should maybe check what their technicians are doing and that they are using the proper tools before recommending replacing a new cars oil pan due to a lack of competency on how to remove a oil plug. I ended up taking my car to the Subaru dealership in Chandler and they did end up having to replace my oil plug because of the damaged Subaru Scottsdale caused to it by using the wrong sized tools. If you are a woman, or a young woman, and still decide to go here, I would recommend you take a man with you to ensure they don't try to scam you and waste your time too.

A big shout out to the assistant service manager, Steven Russo, for communicating throughout my wait on the status. UPDATE: I change my recommendation. I was contacted by the General Manager, who apologized and addressed my complaints. She quickly took care of and resolved my issues. With the circumstances around what happened, I am understanding and so was she, with our side of the story. Due to her willingness to work with us, I can definitely recommend this dealership. Nobody responds to emails. Nobody follows through with things they say they'll do. My wife and I ordered a '22 Ascent back in July. We were told we'd get a status update every week. We sent multiple emails inquiring on the status with no response. 3 months went by before we were notified that the vehicle would be delivered around 11/10. We received VIP pricing thru Subaru and we wanted to know the discounted price before we bought. We never got a total price until we got to the dealership, after it was delivered. The vehicle was missing some things that should've been installed at the factory, but our salesperson ensured us that he'd get us a service appointment to get them installed. A week after purchasing, our sales person still hadn't reached out to schedule the appointment he said he'd take care of, so my wife sent him an email. Rather than continue waiting, I scheduled the service appt myself 3 days ago. Last week, as I was looking thru our finance paperwork, I realized that nowhere does it show our VIP pricing discount, so I emailed our finance person and asked about it. No response, again. This was the first place we went to at to ask about honoring Subaru's VIP Program, and since you guys said you'd honor it, we didn't look elsewhere. I wish I would've picked a different dealership. It's been frustrating trying to get responses from anything. Can't even get a proper response for anything from AutoNation customer service! I've sent a detailed letter to SOA about our experience.

I made an appointment to see a truck, they were "proud" of the price, wouldn't come down at all, said they were at what it was worth, but I looked it up also and found it to be overpriced and was told a bunch of reasons it might be high. I came in to fix the passenger side mirror. They ordered the wrong part despite being told multiple times which part needed to be replaced. They damaged the driver side mirror. The service director Tommy Tufano was talking to me like I was an idiot and was giving me rude looks. Absolutely horrible experience. Nobody apologized for wasting 3 hours of my time. I got no updates as well. Not even an hour in. I left with more problems than I came in with. They do not value your time. Tommy Tufano blamed his rude look on his mask, but eye contact displays the correct emotion 60-70% of the time based on scientific research.

My husband and I have two young children so spending a ton of time at the dealership isn't really an option. We worked with Lucas on a new Impreza that was in transit and explained that we would really like to limit the amount of time we would spend at the dealership. Lucas and his team were amazing and exceeding all of our expectations. Not only did they offer a fair amount for my trade, the entire process was seamless and we were in and out within about 2 hours of our arrival. This was my first time buying a car and I couldn’t be happier with the customer service alone. I went in nervous as hell because of all the horror stories with buying a new car and the aggressive car salesmen. I didn’t have any of those experiences. I spent hours and hours calling different dealerships about a specific car and I’m so happy they were one of the 3 dealerships that actually had it. With how I was treated over the phone, I had to visit here first. Needless to say, they were my only stop. So happy I did!! Shoutout to TJ for your patience and support!! First visit to Scottsdale Subaru. I went in for an 18,000 mile maintenance service. I was promptly checked in by their courteous staff member Marcus. He advised me of the approximate finish time. When I returned the service was complete and Marcus informed me that he had noticed the o rings on the a/c unit needed replacing. The repairs were made at no cost. I will definitely be back at this location for service. A very pleasant experience.

On first impression our salesperson was courteous nice respectful. However it didn't have a good knowledge of the vehicle we were purchasing. Once we got into the financial discussion there was basically no discussion here's the price take it or leave it. I was quite disappointed with the financial process. Also I requested a couple of items from the salesperson after the sale was done and no response. Basically I felt like AutoNation was here's the car we're selling here's the price take it or leave it once you sign on the dotted line thank you very much please don't call us.... I would definitely send my friends to a more personable workable dealership!

I brought in my '04 Forester with a check engine light after another service shop had misdiagnosed the problem and had me replace a part that worked perfectly fine and then tell me that I needed to spend nearly $1,000 in additional repairs when the light came back on. Needless to say, I was burned and wary of being taken advantage of by another dealer service department. However, AutoNation Suburu Scottsdale treated me right. The Service Advisor Marcus was very helpful and straightforward. His technicians were able to correctly diagnose the problem, confirming what an independent shop found after having suspicions of the first dealer service shop's diagnosis. The problem ended up being one part and the repair cost half of the initial misdiagnosis. The check engine light has remained off and the vehicle passed emissions, enabling me to sell it and get another Subaru large enough to fit my growing family. I am very grateful to Marcus and his team for doing a thorough diagnosis and caring about resolving the problem.

Financing was a pain but that was partially due to my own circumstances. It took FOREVER, again partially due to my circumstances, but also got the feeling that Sales manager wasn?t happy with my circumstances. But I got news for you, I didn?t plan on buying a car. I had a $3000 repair on my 2010 Subaru Impreza that I loved with all my heart and it took quite a bit of doing to get the finances together to purchase a certified preowned Subaru because in the end that?s what I needed. Right now money is tight for a lot of people and I don?t think that should come as any great surprise so it was really offputting that the sales manager was not happy with the additional hoops they had to jump through to sell me a car. All that aside the experience at AutoNation Subaru was really nice and is you were buying a car go see Phil or Jamie because they will treat you right. Also, if you get your repairs done there make sure you see Gary or Tommy the service manager because they are the most knowledgeable and most professional!

Bait and Switch, very dishonest or at the least, terrible mistakes made to the tune of a $2000 snuck in. (They changed the warranty price and added a 'clear bra' which he NEVER ordered and NEVER received) and never said word one, NOR did they give him a copy of the receipt, they made it sound like it was for the financing company and he already had his contract. My husband and son went down to Auto Nation on Northsight to get his first car. They settled on a price and interest rate. They negotiated the price of the warranty to $2400. So he gave the down-payment, signed the contract, and went home with the car. Several days later he was told he had to come back because the interest rate had gone up. My husband and I were trying to let him do this himself, but that made me angry, so I called Jody Sedillo with my son on the line. He said they had no control over the interest rate, and there was nothing he could do. We could either bring back the car or sign for the higher interest. Because my son was planning to pay it down quickly, he decided he still wanted the car. He and another person went down and they signed for the new interest rate and thought that was it. Driving home after work his car engine started on fire shortly after he bought it, they kept the car for weeks. It needed a new engine (now I wonder what he got). He checked with the people he made his payments with because they were applying his extra payments forward vs. to the principal (also awful trying to get ahold of those people). We've lived in Scottsdale, I am native, and still own a home there and Carefree area. We've heard of bad dealers, but this kind of behavior is outright criminal. They have not returned phone calls and when we did talk to them, the attitude is 'shrug my shoulders' and 'we can't help you'. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business bureau. Do NOT let your child be taken advantage of. A couple thousand may not be worth your time, but it is the principal of the thing.

My wife and I went in on Thursday looking for a specific vehicle, could not make a deal. Sunday they reached out and asked what it would take well I quote Viggo Tarasov (John Wick Movie) " I gave him an impossible task. A job no one could have pulled off." As I walked along dealership row in Scottsdale, AZ my expectation was to explore and not buy today. A large Chevy dealer next door treated me as most would expect, pushy, trial close after trial close, in my face and not answering my questions which just frustrated me. No thanks so I walked away thinking sales training for these people is needed. Maybe you can relate. As I walked to a large AutoNation Ford dealer the salesman tried to find a car based on my requirements. With no success, I stared walking to AutoNation Subaru, Scottsdale as I already knew I wanted to check out the CrossTrek from online video advertisement I saw the day before. Surprisingly Ford salesman offered to walk me over stating he previously worked there. He showed me a 2019 CrossTrek with many scratches and blemishes. I was disappointed with appearance of car as previous owner did not care well enough for it. As I searched online at Carvana and others I found lower priced, lower mileage better looking CrossTreks and the Ford salesman simply could not tell me why I should buy AutoNation's 2019 CrossTrek. Ford salesman irritated me further by having his sales manager prepare 8% APR loan figures when I had already showed him my credit union was offering me 3% as my Credit Score was Excellent. He kept defending his interest rate which just made me tell him "I owe it to myself to look at a NEW 2021 Subaru CrossTrek" since the pricing on website he showed me was just a few dollars more. I asked him why wouldn't I buy a NEW car with 2 more years warranty and zero miles without the blemishes? He couldn't answer me. So as I walked out he brought his Ford sales manager over to me outside to hear it for himself. Was such a disappointment and waste of my time to reiterate self as now a few hours had past. The Ford salesman walked me over to AutoNation Subaru and spoke with their #1 salesman in private and handed me over to him. I was told the Ford salesman would be rewarded if I bought from Subaru. The only part I liked of what experienced from Ford salesman was that he tried to find me a car, was not pushy and did a hand-off to Subaru salesman. As I reflect back, I should have stared with Subaru Scottsdale and avoided wasting 5 hours of my day before them. The experience at AutoNation Subaru - Scottsdale, AZ from David - #1 salesman, Ward - sales manager and Shawn - finance manager was professional, delightful, I was laughing, no pressure, was not pushy, was friendly, conversational, helpful and overall made my experience without stress. They listened to what I said and when preparing payment figures used 0.9% and 1.9% APR and down payment I specified. They trusted my credit was excellent as I said it was and did not make me feel like I did not know my credit file. The 2021 Subaru CrossTrek Premium with Eye-Sight safety feature had all the refinements I preferred helped me say YES today and we completed the sale. I would do business again with these men at Subaru Scottsdale however that will likely be a long time from now. The car is very smooth and easy on my eyes. It drives very well and have no complaints. My large mountain bike fit into back area with seat down and front wheel off. It hugs the road and steering tight. I am 6'2" and plenty of head room in front and back. I look forward to road trips knowing I am in excellently designed and assembled Subaru made in Japan. I have found USA auto companies still fall short on quality control and longevity. It is unfortunate as I grew up in Metro Detroit the USA motor capital. Laziness of some USA autoworkers and suppliers has plagued the Big 3 car companies for decades. Hopefully they will get their act together soon. In the meantime I will feel safe and enjoy my 2021 CrossTrek. Thanks AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale. I called for a 24,000 miles oil change and got an appointment the next day. Service representative got me started immediately and I told about an hour. An hour later I was on my way. I was told my 99 Forester was in great condition with no issues. The vehicle was washed and vacuumed. Nice to have a time line that was correct.

Dealership will not send title to us or our local DMV in Santa Monica as navy federal credit union requires. Therefore not able to finish California registration or title paperwork!! Asked 10 times in last 3 weeks !! To no avail , just a bunch of lip service from management who won?t connect us with title clerk or business office, so nothing is getting handled ! My next move is to file a complaint with city attorneys office.

The process was very professional (something that lacks at times in the Auto Industry). They were "Ultra" respectful regarding COVID. Very cheerful, willing to assist, answer questions, etc. Great customer service skills! I had an issue with my car, called them on a Friday, they couldn't see it right away, but said I could bring it on Sat and drop it off and they would have a car for me to use over the weekend till they could look at it on Monday. Received a call on Monday on what the issue was & they had my car repaired and back to me on Tuesday. Great Job - keep up the good service!

I have both sold a vehicle and purchased one at AutoNation. My most recent purchase was a 2018 Subaru Outback. I found the car online, made arrangements with David for a test drive, and bought the car that day. I like the no-haggle, price transparency at AutoNation. The first thing David did before I drove the car was to show me the Carfax report. Everyone in the dealership was polite, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic. Just took my Outback in for its 24K complimentary service. I can't say enough good things about Steve Russo and the staff at Auto Nation Subaru in N. Scottsdale. I think, even more than the regular service, the relationship I have developed with Steve as my service advisor means a lot. I have stopped in on occasion without an appointment to have sensors checked or because I couldn't figure out something on the complex infotainment system. Steve just smiles and makes it good!

My appointment was easy to schedule, and the time in the comfortable waiting area passed quickly. The assigned technician completed my Forester rear springs recall task and performed a thorough inspection of all vehicle systems in the time Garry had estimated. I left with a clean car thanks to their complimentary wash.

The service appointment was fine but the follow-up after the service was VERY ANNOYING!! I took my 2017 Forrester to AutoNation Subaru for 21K service. The appointment was fine: quick and thorough. The follow-up after the appointment was horrible. I received multiple robocalls from the service department stating that I needed to contact AutoNation about a service issue. Also, I received multiple e-mails with the same message. Finally, I telephoned the dealership and asked what the issue is. The technician reviewed my history & said that there was no issue. He told me to disregard the calls and e-mails. If there is no issue, don't send robocalls and e-mails.

Had issues with front end vibration/shimmy at highway speeds. Took my Forester to tire store twice in two weeks, they remounted/balanced and didn't see any issues...not sure if these guys even looked at the bushings. Took it to a Auto Repair shop in-town...they had just replaced the front rotors/brake pads...didn't see any issues. Went to Subaru, explained to Steve what was happening and he immediately identified the problem and less than two hours later was out the door, no more vibration. The only real reason for going to Subaru last was the recently added new tires and brakes. The brake rotors on this 2016 XT have been my main complaint with this model, owned several Outbacks over the last 15 years, no brake issues with them, not a reflection on this Dealer.

Was in a parking lot about to turn onto a busy street when the car's engine Auto Start/Stop kicked in. Much to my surprise, when the engine stopped, the steering wheel totally locked up as if I had shut it down after parking and was locking up the car. Took my foot off the brake pedal, the engine restarted and steering was restored. Nevertheless, could have been a big safety problem as I was entering traffic. Shortly after that, I was parked in another parking lot when I went to start the car and just got a message on the dash that the "Steering Locked" and car would not start! (Keyless ignition button). Scary. Autonation Subaru happened to be around the corner, so I brought the car right in. They immediately got me in and checked the system for any error codes that were logged. While no problems were found and they weren't able to duplicate the issue, they explained that it may have been a freak condition where the steering wheel was turned "just so" that allowed the solenoid to trigger and put the lock pin into the steering mechanism. Put me a little more at ease, but I will be exploring a way to permanently defeat the Auto Stop/Start feature to avoid a similar problem. The default state for that feature should NOT be "ON" every time you start the car. Give us some control!

The service department replaced the transmission in my car but the new one continued to slip. I was advised that the behavior was "normal" and that the transmission needed to "learn" my inputs. A few days later I returned to the dealer and they agreed that the new transmission was still slipping. I was advised that they believed that the CVT fluid that they put into the new transmission had been contaminated. They agreed to install a second new transmission and all is good. Elapsed time was 28 days.

I researched inventory availability for a specific Outback trim / color combination. Inventory throughout Phx area was limited. Scottsdale dealer had a matching car on order and due in a couple of weeks. They held the car for me and pre-arranged the deal in advance, agreeing on the price and an approximate value for my trade-in. The car arrived on schedule and there were no surprises on the terms of the deal. The trade-in value was adjusted a bit after the inspection, but the adjustments were reasonable for specific conditions noted when they actually saw the trade in car. I was very pleased with the sales process and the trade-in value allowance.

I've had my 2020 Outback Touring for five days now and am extremely pleased with it. I've owned 5 Acuras (including a 2019 TLX A Spec I still have), BMWs, Saabs, many Hondas, and two Prius. While this is my first Subaru and it is only days old, I believe it will hold its own against any of those cars. Equally important, the sales rep who assisted me, Myles, was excellent. He patiently went through the car, its options, and kept me up-to-date while awaiting the truck to deliver it to the dealership. No pressure to buy or add-on items. I consider the agreed upon price to be a very fair deal and appreciate the fact that everyone at the dealership was wearing masks during this time of Covid19.

The only thing I regret is not having purchased my WRX here. From the top manager to the support staff this dealership is customer service oriented, and honest. I'll be coming back here whenever I'm purchasing another vehicle. This dealership is exactly the opposite of Peoria Subaru/Moore Chrysler, where they give you false promises low service level even in something basic as an oil change; when you call them out on their BS Amanda at 'Customer Service" will tell you "I'm sorry our hands are tied such and such vehicles do not qualify for the promises we made" and more nonsense like that. AUTONATION Scottsdale is a great dealership, my daughter's car was purchased here I; recommend i AutoNation to all.

They fixed my AC promptly and I was treated with courtesy and respect and found the short wait very comfortable on their nice cushy sofa with my book. Take my advice . Brought our 2019 Suburu Outback in for recall repairs on the fuel pump. As they told me on the phone when I scheduled it would be about something less than two hours and Mike who handled my service lived up to it. When I came back from a walk the car was sitting outside and Mike was just doing the paperwork. He mentioned he rolled the windows down partially because there was a smell of gas in the car , because they actually do the replacement from inside the car. It had a very strong smell of gas and still does a day later. I am not sure about the replacement fuel pump, but I know I came in with a little under a full tank and drove 13 miles home and have a 1/2 full tank. Something is amiss.

The drop-off is convenient and the scheduled maintenance was done in a timely manner as I waited in the showroom/lounge area for my car. They used disposable seat covers and mats while using masks to perform their work. The synthetic oil change, fluids checks, tire rotation, and car wash was done in a reasonable amount of time and returned to me as spotless as new.

Gary in service at Autonation Subaru is the best. He has always been great to work with, and has really helped us keep our Subarus on the road. With 225K on our forester, and over 150K on our outback we still feel confident in driving these cars anywhere.

Spending 4 hours for them to do the paperwork was not expected. Giving Scott $20,000 deposit and didn?t get to take the car home, until we have to bring our trade in.

I had taken my car to another Subaru dealer with a complaint about the seat motor fan noise, which had gotten quite loud when the car was a few months old. The other dealer told me the noise was normal. Autonation listened to the motors and then replaced the fans in both seats. Much quieter! I received three recall notices from Subaru. I called Subaru Superstore of Chandler. They said the service department would call me back. I waited two days. No call back. I called them again and was told they had to order parts and would call me when the parts were in. Two weeks later I called Subaru Customer Service. The rep I talked to said there was no back order on parts that she could see. She called Superstore and was told they were waiting for parts. She then called AutoNation. She connected me to a service rep there. The rep said they had all the parts and set up an appointment at my earliest convenience. All the recalls are now taken care of. It's been three weeks, and still no call back from Superstore. I bought my Subaru at AutoNation because they came in at $5,5000 out-the-door price under what a dealer in Tucson wanted to charge me for the exact same car with the same options. I was going to switch service to Chandler because they are closer to me, but I'm not switching anymore. I'm highly satisfied. Their facility is small and the waiting area not as comfortable as some (Precision Toyota in Tucson is #1 for waiting areas I've used), but the place is friendly and professional and they get things done right.

I arrived to find not only good coffee, but donuts and fruit, apples, bananas. Nice touch! I was there for my second Takata airbag recall. It took around three hours. Some minor damage happened to the dashboard, so they ordered a new one, which they will also install, and they kindly added in my scheduled oil change at no charge. Mike Harris is great to work with. After several unsatisfactory visits to Camelback Subaru, I was happy to discover far better service at Scottsdale AutoNation and will be taking my Subaru there from now on.

T Buying process was complicated because it wasn?t clear until the check in what discount can be applied. At the end the price turned out OK. When I checked the car out, I immediately noticed some rattling sound in the rear suspension. The young mechanic left on duty at the end of day quickly diagnosed the problem and found someone to fix it in a few minutes.

I was pleased on how smoothly and non pushy the sales staff was and would have given a 5 star review except for the financing department. I bought a 2016 Subaru crosstrek with no issues, and sat down to sign all the papers, which I had to wait almost and hour before actually getting to sign the financing papers, with Scott. He was very pushy on trying to up sale upgraded polices to protect my car, which would have been great to have but I was already at my budget’s max. He was very defensive when I was starting to get angry at his pushiness for the coverages. I did end up purchasing the bumper to bumper coverage and signed a contract that stated I would have a 4.99% financing at 75 months. That put my payment barely affordable. After two days I received a phone call from Scott saying that my financing, which I signed a contract for, was not approved because the bank wouldn’t do 75 month financing. He said I could either try to get approved with someone else that lived with me to have a small bank do the 75 month financing or pay an additional $11 for 72 month financing. Unfortunately, I already knew I would not get the same interest rate if I used my wife’s credit so I had no choice but to pay $11 more for 72 financing. I then had to drive back down to the dealership with my dad who was co-signing, my 1 year old and 3 year old. It wouldn’t have been that bad had the dealership not been an hour from my house. When re signing the contract Scott had me sign a sheet that said that this was a mutual decision to revise the financing, which it wasn’t, but I had no other choice if I wanted the car and to not to lose my money that I had already paid them. I feel like the dealership took advantage of the situation. They pre approved me before buying the car and I also signed a binding contract with the same numbers I was pre approved for. I am not sure of the inter-workings of financing but I feel like they either dropped the ball big time or they are just a deceitful company that will get a sale at whatever cost. I can guarantee that I will not be recommending this dealer or be purchasing a future car from this dealership.

Second, they review the reasons you seek service and don't use it as an opportunity to sell useless add-ons. I just have to say that I normally have a great experience here, but today was by far the best one yet! I brought my 3 year old and 6 month old daughters with me while I had some work done on my car & what should have been a nightmare of a time (entertaining the 2 of them with zero meltdowns), my 3 year old now thinks this place is Disneyland. Service is OK - but slow (typically 2 hours for a routine 6-mo service on my Crosstrek). My last visit I scheduled a front-end alilgnment as well. (It is recommended at 18 months/15,000 miles, but since I only had about 10,000 miles then they recommended delaying it - I decided to go ahead now at 24 months and 12,000 miles, esp since we do take the car up some pretty rough dirt roads to remote trailheads). I watched other customers come in after me and leave before me, but was OK since I figured the alignment would add time. But when Mike said it was all done after 2 hours, I realized he had only done oil change, tire rotation, inspection, and recall switch replacement. Apparently he decided, without consulting me (and after my verifying when I checked in that I had requested it), not to do the alignment. In his words, I didn't need it since I had low miles and 'only drive it around town'. Perhaps he was right based on the vehicle inspection, but I was upset that he had not discussed it with me.

Our 2019 Subaru Outback Premium was less than 30 days old when we discovered that the right rear passenger window had shattered while the car was sitting on the street. The car was parked at about 2 pm, and the broken window was discovered about 4:30 pm. There was no evidence of vandalism or a chip, though a chip would be easy to miss. We called the national Subaru number and they said it would be covered under warranty and they would have it towed to the nearest dealer, which was AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale. When we got there, the service department said that glass wasn't covered under warranty. If we'd know this to start with, our insurance would have covered the repair without having to have it towed. But because it was now at the dealer, we had to have the dealer make the repair, which meant waiting for the parts to come in and paying for the cost ourselves, with a later reimbursement from insurance. We have no complaint against this dealer, but Subaru should not have told us it was covered under warranty when it wasn't. They turned a straightforward glass claim into a time-consuming and complicated repair.

I won’t mention anyone specific because I believe all the issues were caused by a general lack of communication and some negligence. As a female with little car knowledge, I want to feel assured that my car servicing will include only what is necessary and that, especially at a Subaru dealership, I will not be taken advantage of with nickel and diming. I requested that they not replace the cabin air filter, but sure enough when the associate went over everything, it was done and charged for anyway. My new tires ended up getting “lost in transit” for three days; on the second day I was called at work and informed that my tires had arrived and my car would be ready for pickup in the afternoon. I arrived after work and was briskly brushed off when I said I was here for my car. Fifteen minutes later, I had a different associate come up and tell me that my tires actually never arrived. Not his fault, but a phone call earlier letting me know would have been great. We finally had to have them go over to Discount Tire to get the right tires so that I wouldn’t be waiting even longer to get my car back. (They sent me off during these days with a loaner car with about a quarter tank of gas). At the end of it all, I was still charged full price for everything and I feel that a discount applied to my servicing for all the time they took from me would have been extremely appropriate in this circumstance. This place seriously needs to hire more sales associates to take the pressure off of everyone. The disorganization and lack of communication proves this. I would not recommend this place unless you are an assertive car guru who is willing to argue and stick up for himself.

I had been to other car manufacturers looking for a new car, the experience with them was true to the reputation of car sales persons - they are pushy and condescending. This is for their parts shop not the actual dealership. When we purchased our car the person that helped us was really nice. But then there was an accident on the freeway were a piece of wood fell off from the back of someone’s truck and came flying right at us. The bumper was falling off and the hood had a couple of stracthed. This happened in October and we took the car to the body shop to get fixed. We were really conserned since it’s out first brand new car and we wanted the guy to come outside with us to take a look at the car but right away he started making faces and refused I think it definitely could have been racism. We ended up requesting a change for a different person and we ended up getting Dave. Dave was no help AT ALL. At first they told us that they would replace the bumper and repaint the whole hood so that the paint would blend and that it would be ready in 3 days. It ended up taking a week and right away we noticed that the paint was chipping off, the hood was not centered correctly and two days later the bumper was falling off. Turns out they only went over the stratches with a little brush and painted over paint bubbles and had replaced the bumper with an off brand one without even asking us if that was ok. We ended up taking the car in again for them to fix they’re mistakes and they said they would do it right this time. They took the car again for another week and when we called back it turns out the car had just been sitting there because they hadn’t orders the parts yet. Anyways they “fixed” it and ended up doing the same thing AGAIN. They just painted over all the little paint chips with a little brush and the hood is still not centered. So we took it back a third time and they said they would call us to schedule with us again on when to bring the car. A whole month passed an they never called. So we finally called them and they said they weren’t gonna fix anything anymore. That if we wanted the hood repainted we would have to pay $700. So we still have an off centered hood with paint chipping off of it. Oh and by the way, the second time we took it in they said they would give us a rental car since it was their mistake. Then we actually took the car in and we brought it up they said that they can’t do that and refused to give us a rental car. It was honestly terrible costumer service. Would not recommend taking your car here. It’s just a waste of money and time. They’re really irresponsible and don’t care about customer satisfaction. Right from the beginning they seemed like they were annoyed for having a customer come in.

I purchased my 2017 Outback in 10/17 and was happy with the customer service. I have since had regular service three times and found it easy to make an appointment, the work was done in the time frame stated and they have been friendly. We have many Subarus in the family and we love their safety and dependability. (I really love my 2017 Outback- the extra 3.6 engine gives me the extra power and I still get 26-29 mpg while on the highway.)

Great place to buy a car. The sales people work on quotas, not commission, so there's no pressure to buy a more expensive model. Sales varied in their knowledge of the models, but looked up answers to any questions I had. Finance has the usual upsells - extended warranties, service contracts, etc. - but the sales pitch is soft, not full court press. I didn't feel like my car would explode if I drove off without the extended deluxe warranty. Definitely do your research here before you go if you can - some of the warranty items are more worthwhile than others. They beat my pre-approved financing, and my end payment was only a few dollars off from the initial numbers we discussed. I would absolutely buy from these guys again!

Knew what we wanted. First visit had to go in and hunt down help, test drove car got an agreed to price. Left for the night. Called two days later to put a hold on the car and never got a return car. Went into purchase, old sales man ignored us. New one was fine. But we had gotten our last Subaru from them and it was like they'd never heard us before, took 3 hours to finish deal even though nothing changed with price. Then finance guy kept trying to sell us more and more maintenance coverage after we said no.

We stopped in one day to find an SUV that we have been looking for. It was just traded in, so they were cleaning it up. We came back later that evening and took it for a spin. We decided to sleep on it as the bank wanted a certain amount down. A couple days later, we decided we'd like to take the dealership up on the deal. We informed them we would be coming in to sign the papers the next day at 6pm. Upon showing up, they had it nicely detailed awaiting us. We had to wait an hour to get into finance as they were working other deals for customers. We told finance before we signed paperwork how much we were told we had to put down. They then brought our deal out to us with an altered down payment (which was cheaper than what we were told before) even though we told them when we arrived what we were told. We then ok'd the deal they had put out for us. We paid the altered (cheaper) down payment and we went on our way. Driving the car for a few days, we found a couple issues with the vehicle. AutoNation gives a complimentary 5 day warranty and you can turn it in with no questions asked with a full refund. I made an appointment to drop it off to have things looked at. I received a phone call that afternoon saying they weren't going to fix any issues on the car as it was sold about 2k under the cars book value with the known issues it had. The rotors were warped and unsafe. We were told they shouldn't have left the car leave the lot in that condition from the sales manager, yet they didn't want to fix the issue. Also, come to find out they weren't going to give me the keys back until I paid them the rest of what was owed to the bank in the original deal. Well, we reassured finance TWICE the night we picked up the car about what we were told the bank came back with and they didn't listen. We had asked to speak with the GM of AutoNation about our troubles and we were told that he already knew about the situation and it would do us no good to talk to him. So, AutoNation wanted us to pay an addition $700 to the $2,500 we had already put down on the vehicle. They put me in a loaner for the evening and I was going to let them know what I wanted to do the next day. After them dicking us around with all of the crap, I was fed up and just told them I didn't want the vehicle. Come to find out, they re-listed the vehicle for hundreds less than what they gave me on the deal. What a bunch of BS. I will never be back to an AutoNation. Watch out and make sure you go through EVERY detail thoroughly!

Made an appointment for 1/12 on 1/11 and called ahead to Jason in parts to let him know I would be late because the car was being towed and tow truck was behind. Immediately noticed two things when I got there: they did not know how to shut the car off (it is a Saab 92x which has an Impreza engine and a Saab body by design and needs to be shut off with the stick in the reverse position, for god sakes) and they began to haggle to cost to do the 90k mi check up (mysteriously, the price doubled over the online dealership quote). Left the car around 11:00am and Kyle Stringfellow did not call me until 2:40 to leave a message to call. I went online because I could not reach him and the appointment was cancelled by him without explanation. Typical Scottsdale half ***** service, so far. I will keep you posted. I asked the Service Manager to call me back first thing on Saturday.

� DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE Bought a 2015 Outback from here October 16th 2017. We returned it on October 18th within the 5 day return policy (signed contract to prove it) and it took them 2 months to get me my $500 refund. Fast forward to February 2018 and I’m still getting billed for this vehicle monthly even though we returned it within the contractually protected return period. My wife and I’s credit score dropped over 130 points from 750’s because of this. We worked extremely hard to achieve those scores as we are in our low twenties. I have been denied small loans for business expenses because of this. Also my wife and I are adopting her cousins and wanting to buy a home this year, but I don’t think we will be able to now because of this. I sent out a demand letter and if not resolved by February 15th, they will be contacted by the Attorney General to rectify the situation in court. Do NOT buy a car from here. They will do anything to take your money and do nothing to help you afterwards. Disgusted.

I responded to a used vehicle ad clicking the button inquiring if the vehicle is still available. Almost immediately I got the attention of a salesperson and the General Manager. However, HOWEVER, the emails keep coming... and coming. The GM's emails were nice but the salesperson's emails were a bit too aggressive. When I arrived at the show room the Sales Manager was friendly, courteous, and not aggressive. I might have bought a vehicle from this location but the one I am interested was sold.

After being bullied, lied to, and pressured at other dealerships, it was a breath of fresh air to walk into AutoNation Subaru where I was treated with proper respect and customer service. Alexis and Kim made my first car buying experience as smooth as possible, and they were honest and kind people to work with. I would give this place 5 stars, but following up with the dealership to get a minor scuff buffed out of my new vehicle has been a bit difficult with some "phone tag" involved. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place if you want to buy a Subaru.

This is my fourth Subaru. they are rock solid safe cars. Three of those Subies were when I lived in Delaware. The second one was a 2004 WRX Sport Wagon in Rally Blue. Driving a WRX, with that amazing all-wheel drive, in the snow is about the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Traded the WRX on a 2008 Impreza i 5-door when the miles got high. Good car, but not a WRX. Retired, moved here and found I could afford to indulge myself with a couple of gotta have cars. Bought a 2013 Mini Cooper Clubman S (automatic) and a 2013 Honda Civic Si (6-speed), but I always regretted letting that WRX go. Recently noticed the manufacturers lease offer on the base 2018 WRX and decided to check it out. Checked the area Subaru inventories and saw that AutoNation had one in Lapis Blue Metallic. Went there this past Tuesday and had a very pleasant afternoon doing the deal. Bo and Mike were personable and knew the WRX inside and out. I can't remember how many times I have encountered car sales people who know nothing about the cars they sell and Mike didn't laugh at me when I stalled out a few times on the test drive. The clutch takes up quicker than the Honda and you have to have the revs up. Dealing with Sophia in finance was also a pleasure. She explained the add-on and their benefits, but there was no pressure to buy them. I was concerned I wouldn't get a high enough offer for the Si, but the offer was in the range for the year, low miles and excellent condition of the Si. It allowed me to pay off the Honda and covered a third of the down payment for the lease. My lease payments are considerably lower than the monthly payments for the Honda. Bo sat with me in the car and explained all the controls. He even linked my phone and down loaded my contacts for me. The guy who evaluated the Honda even gave me a new WRX hat and thanked me for my service. He noticed my decals on the back window. I don't recall his name, but he is a navy vet and I thank him for his service also. So, it was an excellent experience at AutoNation Scottsdale and I am back in a WRX. I am a happy boy. People love the car and color and drivers pull over to let me through. Well, not really, but they should.

I came all the way from CA to but my new 2018 Outback there. My salesman, Raymond T., was kind and knowledgeable. He knew I was driving it back to CA that night, and made sure I understood every aspect of the vehicle. He have me his cell #, and even called to check on me. He really knew all the ins and outs of the hi-tech equipment. Highly recommend Raymond! (The only concern I have is w/ my free maintenance. My local dealer says I don't get it free because I bought it in Arizona, but the Manager in Scottsdale says I do. I even wrote to Subaru USA, and still don't have a definitive answer. I sure hope I didn't lose that! That was a large part of my reason to get a Subaru!)

The professional and personal experience I encountered at AutoNation Subaru are second to none! I contacted several Subaru dealerships. AutoNation was by far and away the most helpful, the most honest (!), the most attentive to my needs and desires with regard to what I did and did not want (they searched and searched until they found what I wanted rather than tried to sell me what I didnt want), and the most accommodating to my schedule and needs (including driving to Tucson and returning late at night so that I could have the car for a personal trip the next day). If it were possible to give extra credit stars, I would give them. I've purchased a fair number of new cars over the years (10). Never have I had a better experience, and, frankly, I can't recall that I've had an experience as good as AutoNation.

After getting burned trying to buy a outback in California I reached out to these guys. Kim was my sales person and Mike the sales Mgr. Great team you will not go wrong, look them up please. I got a better deal here than in California. I was initially looking at the Outback Limited and was dealing with this dealership and two others in California. After looking at the car in person I couldn't pull the trigger. Then I saw a Touring model someone had ordered. That was the car I wanted. Galpin Subaru had one, I gave them a deposit over the phone, 3 hrs later they sold it to someone else. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I reached out to Mike and Kim again, I knew they had this same car. Mike offered me a great price, put a deposit down and flew out to get it 3 days later. My service manager, Eldon, took care of me and my vehicle. Dropped my car '93 Olds Silhouette van for oil gasket repair and drove away with a 252-mileage loaner!!. Eldon called the warranty company and pointed out to the inspector other items that may be covered for repairs. When my vehicle is ready, no pressure to immediately return the loaner. How Ice, made my Dreams Come True! Few weeks ago my girlfriend and I, decide to take a trip to Maryland in our brand new WRX. Sadly we hit a patch of ice and it would forever change our lives. The car I had for only two months, and spent countless hours on, and so much money. Is not totaled and will be forever out of our life. The insurance was covering the accident, but none of the aftermarket work or parts I have put into the car. So now I had to start all over, and spend more money on a new car. My previous car salesmen stayed friends with me after the purchase of the WRX, heard about our accident, called to make sure we were ok. He worked as hard as he could to get me in another car ASAP and even drove out of the city limits to pick up a car he thought I would love. I went down to “ the previous dealer” and it just wasn’t going my way. It looked like I wasn’t going to be getting into an STi, which I wanted to since I spent all this time making my WRX into a STi. They did say they can get me into a car I was in previously, but I didn’t want to start from scratch again. I then remember a message I got from someone in my car club on Facebook (Simply Subie Arizona) that he can beat any deal out there. So I sent Andrew Tackett a message and we set up a time and I found myself at AutoNation Subaru in Scottsdale. I got there and he was wrapping up with the previous customer, and normally I have no patience, and I already saw the car that he brought out front for me. So I knew he thought of me, he just wasn’t ready yet. So I asked if anyone else can help me, then Mike Minick walked up to me and instantly recognized me and said you're just here to see the STi right, come to find out that he is also a member of SSAZ. I was so new to the group, I only knew a few people. He even mentioned how sorry he was about losing my car and joked about adding all my stuff to the STi. Which was my plan all along and just showed me that I wasn’t just a Paycheck to them, but was a person. Since I already knew everything about the WRX, I just wanted to know the difference from the WRX to the STi. Mike walked around the car and showed me everything. He was showing me a Pre-owned car that looked brand new and the only damage I can see or find was a scratch on the rear bumper. The previous owner even left the plastic on the radio. So to me I was just buying a slightly new car. It had less miles on the car then my WRX. I test drove the car and instantly feel in love. I had my girlfriend and son with me, so I let them walk around the car and see it. My son was so excited about the trunk wing, and this time, my girlfriend was there to see everything and all the options. She loved the car from first glance, she saw it before me as we pulled in. She said it was perfect and was customized to just me. Then we opened the door and she saw the interior, I can see her eyes just sparkle. I had a feeling we found our car. Next part is what everyone fears, the negotiations and back and forth. But it went simple, the car was already marked 3k off what the mark was asking for, which I thought was a steal. I did do some haggling, and got the price into a range I felt comfortable with. So for $8 more dollars a month compared to my last car. I had a STi…..SOLD! They even agreed to fix a dent we later found on the rocker, install my previous exhaust, and add some tint on the windshield. They went above and beyond what I expected. Andrew even threw in some shirts and an cargo net for our car. The process took maybe 5hrs. I couldn’t believe it, no hassle, no fussing around. I could tell they really did try to make sure I got into this car. A car I was drooling over since I was 15, I’m 33 now. I was next brought into the Hotbox I call it, the additional sales part and final signatures. I sat down with Anglee Brown and we began the add-ons part. I wanted extend warranties on my last car…but I couldn’t afford it I was told by the banks. So I let her know what happened last time, and she looked at me and said hold on. She found a way to lower my monthly interest and payment, I mean what else could you ask for! We went over every option that was available and things I would want, she never once made me feel like I had to have it. I ended up getting everything I want and got an additional 5 service (Oil Changes for free). I ended up getting the car of my dreams, a car I wanted 2 months ago, the car I thought I was getting into a week ago…for $33 more a month then my last car payment. I left the dealer with so much joy and smiles. I had my family with me and they all made sure we were happy the entire time. As I was driving off the lot, it hadn’t hit me yet. But pulling into the restaurant to celebrate, I heard the car “RUMBLE” and I just broke down into tears….I owned a STi!!! I bought my BRZ from Auto Nation back in November 2012. It was a pretty painless transaction because at the time, they only had this one BRZ and the price was the price. The sales and financing staff were knowledgeable and friendly with no high pressure. The initial service costs were very reasonable due some promo offers, etc. I recently returned there for an oil change and new windshield wiper blades. The bill? $116!! Pretty pricey in my book. $44 for wiper blades? I had new blades installed on my Chrysler Aspen at a dealer recently for half the price - $22 and I thought that was high. The oil change was $78. They gave me a $6 discount coupon. Whoop dee do! I won't be returning here for any additional service on my BRZ especially considering that I live nearly 2 hours from this dealer. As an aside, they are always courteous and I like that they wash and vacuum the car before returning it after the service is completed.

Hollis was extremely knowledgeable about the WRX I bought. He knew the ins and outs of the car and how to get the best pricing on both the car and insurance. The facility itself was well kept and everyone was very pleasant.

As you can note by my age (78) I have purchased a lot of cars in my life. My experience at THIS dealer ship was by far the best experience I have had in recent memory. From the time I entered the sales office to the time I left I felt welcomed. My sales man Santos Guerra was extremely easy to work with, he had good knowledge of the vehicle I was interested in (Forester), in fact once we had agreed on the deal, he drove to another location to retrieve the car I wanted and had it cleaned and filled with gas before I left that day., thats what I call service. Any other dealership would have had me come back the following day to pick it up. From the manager Dave to the Financial manager Tony and not to forget Carol the customer relations manager, I truly felt that they wanted me to be a part of the Subaru family. Know I know they wanted to sell a car, but I FELT that they wanted ME to have the car I wanted at a price I could pay (a great deal). I would encourage anyone looking to purchase a Subaru to visit this dealer if you are looking for a great experience EVEN if you are just looking.

That was a great car buying experience I just had! I got my dream car, a WRX, with single-digit APR financing (for me that's huge), some cool advice, and even some modding ideas and a modder referral. I'm not going to void any warranties but it's fun to know what my options are with such a fun car. Also, I love this car! Glad these guys didn't blow any smoke, they're very friendly and polite. If your getting a WRX, ask for Hollis. :)

I got the car of my dreams (WRX), financed with single-digit APR, got great advice and even a referral to a local modding shop! This was a blasy, and I'm a fan! If you're getting or looking at the WRX, ask for Hollis, he's the man.

The staff at AutoNation will make your car search simple. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. They weren't scared to do better than their competitors. These guys go out of their way to meet the customers. Talk to Richard Rollnick if you are looking for a WRX or STI as these are his specialty. I went from Tucson to Scottsdale(almost 2 hour drive) to get my WRX. Don't settle for a mediocre car buying experience when looking for a Subaru. Stop by AutoNation Subaru in Scottsdale!

I dealt with many dealerships during this car buying process. I chose automation Subaru because the salesman was friendly and professional. This something I can not say about a few other dealerships. He went out of his way to help me and also gave me the best price. The actual buying process was simple and easy.

I purchased my second car from Auto Nation Subaru in Scottsdale. Richie R. was my salesman for both purchases, he did an excellent job. Any questions I, or my husband had he answered. He was very helpful and made us at ease in the whole buying experience. I would recommend him for your next or first car buying experience, he's great. And the dealership as a whole was a great place to visit. I give them five stars.

I recently purchased a '15 Subaru WRX from AutoNation Subaru. After receiving several bids from other dealerships for a price on a new WRX, AutoNation Subaru provided me with the lowest bid. When they were unable to provide the WRX with a sunroof and a manual transmission, they offered me a WRX with a sunroof and an automatic, a $1,200 upgrade, at the same price they quoted me for the manual. With a minimum of negotiation and no hassle whatsoever, AutoNation Subaru made a deal that was several thousand dollars below MSRP, not to mention several thousand below invoice. I would highly recommend AutoNation Subaru to anybody in the greater Phoenix area whose in the market for a new Subaru. It's worth the drive from anywhere in the valley. In fact, even if you live well outside the valley, it's well worth the drive.

Another great experience....a no non-sense, upfront and laid-back atmosphere with the KNOWLEDGE and service to back it up. Most other places I tell them about the Outback, but Jeremy knew his stuff.

After 13 years I found myself needing a new vehicle ASAP. I was not expecting to purchase a Subaru. I really liked the Forrester and Michael was very polite, helpful, and patient. I got an excellent deal on a vehicle I have been very happy with, it's already been on its first road trip with no issue. I also had the windows tinted. The service department was another plus and I am sure that I will continue be treated well as I return for maintenance.

Rather than a sales pitch or just another customer, Jonathan displayed compassion to the customer/driver experience with attention to our needs and future family needs. Be very wary of what you believe when they talk numbers to you. Signed a contract for 4.5% Apr and now, three weeks after sale, they are coming back with modified terms that changes my payments pretty substantially... In a negative way. I am very unhappy with the turn out. love my car but not the flip flop I'm getting. Tis a big shame cause I left the dealership feeling like I finally had a good dealership experience to find out it was all a lie to get me to drive off the lot with their car. Big disappointment.

Our family van was totalled, suddenly leaving us without our family's main transportation. We called AutoNation. We worked with Ward Bizzell. After visiting another dealership, enduring an advertising scam, major dishonesty and really BAD vehicles, we were pretty "punchy". AutoNation worjed with us, Ward was professional, patient, and a pleasure to work with. By the end of the weekend, we had a certified used 2007 Ford Expedition. Car shopping is a pain, but there are diamonds in tge coal bin, so to speak.

In less than two hours we found the perfect car, agreed on the price, agreed on the value of the trade and told them we would pay cash. Three hours after that we left with the car. What a finance hassle. And we paid cash. We actually had to walk out of the finance office. Then we went to the bank, got a cashier's check, returned and gave that to the salesman. They said it would take up to 10 days to clear. No problem we will go elsewhere. But wait! They took the cashier's check and we drove away with the car. This was seriously messed up. And they wanted me to sign a backup contract before I was allowed to go get the money to pay cash... NOT! They said it protected them. What about me? No they said, it doesn't help me in any way. Finance is seriously messed up at AutoNation Subaru. Great dealership, great salesman, Ron, great car, lousy finance department. They are using the AutoNation Ford finance department across the street. Two hours to find and negotiate the deal. Three hours more to pay cash. P.S. Pack a meal if you want to do a deal with them.

As far as dealerships go, these guys are very reasonable. They sorted through the financials quickly whilst negotiating a better interest rate on my behalf, and I drove away in a matter of hours. Both the trade-in and the sale price was reasonably fair. Only lost a star because they forgot to return my driver's license amidst all the paperwork.

My experience was better than expected. No pressure, great information, quick response to my initial on-line request and respectful follow-up. The sales person and sales manager, Michael and Ryan, were helpful, honest, and straight-forward, even when I took several weeks to buy.

Although we are very happy about the actual vehicle- we have been very disapointed on the follow-up from the customer care standpoint. We were told that we could cancel or gap policy and our tire protection policy at any time. We have been struggling to get this done over the past 4 months - and have now met a roadblock whle trying ot cancel our tire protetion policy - after we were denied our claim and realized that it didn't meet our need or expectation. I am trying to work with them - but have found it extremely difficult to get anyone to respond.
